1. WHO WE ARE

Rangel's Painting LLC ("Rangel's Painting," "the Company," "we," "us," or "our") is a North Carolina-based painting and contracting company serving the Charlotte, NC / SC metro area, including Charlotte, Concord, Kannapolis, Huntersville, Cornelius, Lake Norman, Mooresville, Matthews, Mint Hill, Pineville, Belmont, Mount Holly, Gastonia, Monroe, Harrisburg, Indian Trail, and Waxhaw, North Carolina, and Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Tega Cay, and Lake Wylie, South Carolina.

Website: rangelspaintingllc.com Owner/Contact: Felipe Rangel Phone: (843) 680-1827 Email: rangelspaintingllc@gmail.com

This Privacy Policy explains what information our website collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you when you visit rangelspaintingllc.com (the "Site"). The Site is an informational, lead-generation website for our painting, pressure washing, deck staining, and flooring services. It has no user accounts, no login system, and does not process payments.

2. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE THROUGH THE QUOTE REQUEST FORM

Our Site includes a "Request a Free Quote" form that asks for:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Project type (residential or commercial)
  • Service needed
  • An optional free-text message describing your project

IMPORTANT — HOW THIS FORM ACTUALLY WORKS: Unlike most contact forms, our quote request form does not submit your information to any server, database, or third-party form-processing service operated by us. When you press submit, the form assembles the information you typed into a pre-filled email (using a standard "mailto:" link, or, on desktop browsers, a picker that lets you choose to open Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail, or iCloud Mail in your browser). Your own device then opens your own email application or webmail account, with the message already addressed to rangelspaintingllc@gmail.com and populated with the details you entered. You must then choose to review and press "send" from your own email account for the message to be transmitted anywhere.

In practical terms, this works exactly like clicking any ordinary "mailto:" link on any website: our Site itself never receives, stores, transmits to a server, or has any technical access to the information you type into that form. We only receive your information if and when you personally send the resulting email from your own email client or webmail account, addressed to our inbox at rangelspaintingllc@gmail.com. Once you send that email, your information is stored in our Gmail inbox subject to Google's own privacy and security practices for Gmail, and is handled by us like any other email inquiry — used only to respond to your quote request, schedule an estimate, and provide the services you asked about.

We do not use any CRM, marketing database, or third-party lead-management platform to store quote request data at this time. If that changes in the future, we will update this Policy to describe the new data flow.

3. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY (ANALYTICS)

We use Google Analytics 4 ("GA4"), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use our Site (for example, which pages are viewed and which buttons — such as "Call," "Get a Free Quote," or "WhatsApp" — are clicked). GA4 is implemented using the react-ga4 library under Google Analytics measurement ID G-56REY9YV6E.

When you visit the Site, GA4 may automatically collect:

  • Pages and screens viewed, and time spent on them
  • Button/link click events (e.g., clicking to call, email, or WhatsApp us)
  • Approximate location (typically city/region level, derived from IP address)
  • Device, browser, and operating system type
  • Referring website or search engine
  • A randomly generated analytics identifier stored in your browser via cookies or similar browser storage, used to distinguish visitors and sessions

GA4 does not receive the contents of the quote request form (name, phone, email, message) — that data flows only through your own email client as described in Section 2, never through our analytics tool.

Google acts as an independent processor of this analytics data under its own privacy practices. You can review Google's privacy practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google also offers a Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) that prevents GA4 JavaScript from sharing visit information. You can also limit analytics collection by:

  • Adjusting your browser's cookie and site-data settings to block third-party cookies or analytics scripts
  • Using your browser's "Do Not Track" or privacy/incognito settings (see Section 8 below)
  • Installing a browser extension that blocks analytics/tracking scripts

4. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Our Site's Google Analytics integration sets cookies and/or uses similar browser storage technologies (such as localStorage) in your browser to enable the analytics functions described in Section 3. We do not currently use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell or share cookie data with data brokers.

On your first visit, our Site displays a short notice at the bottom of the page informing you that we use cookies for analytics and linking to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service; clicking "Accept" dismisses the notice and is recorded in your browser (via localStorage) so it does not reappear on later visits. Because our analytics cookies are used solely for first-party-adjacent analytics purposes (not advertising) and our current audience is exclusively within the United States, we do not currently treat granular, itemized cookie consent as legally required, but we display this notice as a matter of transparency and good practice. If our audience or advertising practices change (for example, if we begin running retargeting ads, or if we begin marketing to the EU/UK), we will implement a more granular, compliant cookie-consent mechanism and update this Policy accordingly.

You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect your ability to browse the Site, request a quote, or contact us.

5. GOOGLE FONTS

Our Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com), a font-hosting service operated by Google. When your browser loads a page on our Site, it may send a request directly to Google's servers to retrieve font files, which can include your IP address and browser information as part of a standard web request. This is a standard, widely-used method of loading web fonts and does not involve any Google account, login, or advertising profile. See Google's privacy practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

6. WHATSAPP "CLICK TO CHAT"

Our Site includes a WhatsApp button that links to wa.me, WhatsApp's official "click to chat" service. Clicking this button does not transmit any information to us or to our Site — it simply opens the WhatsApp application (or WhatsApp Web) on your device with our business phone number pre-filled, so that you can choose to start a conversation with us directly through WhatsApp, a service operated by WhatsApp LLC/Meta Platforms, Inc. Any information you then choose to send us via WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy and terms, and becomes part of our WhatsApp Business conversation history with you, used solely to respond to your inquiry.

7. LINKS TO INSTAGRAM AND FACEBOOK

Our Site includes plain outbound links to our official Instagram (@rangelspaintingllc) and Facebook ("Rangel's Painting") pages. These are standard hyperlinks only — our Site does not embed Instagram/Facebook widgets, "Like" buttons, comment plugins, or tracking pixels from Meta Platforms, Inc. Clicking these links takes you to Meta's platforms, where your use is governed by Meta's own privacy policy and terms, not this Policy.

8. DO NOT TRACK

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to interpret DNT signals, our Site does not currently respond differently to browsers with DNT enabled. You can still limit tracking using the browser and Google Analytics opt-out tools described in Section 3.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA)

Our Site and services are directed at general adult consumers and businesses seeking painting, pressure washing, staining, and flooring services, not at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the Site contains no features directed at children. If you believe a child has provided us information through the quote request email flow, please contact us at rangelspaintingllc@gmail.com and we will delete it from our records.

10. HOW WE USE INFORMATION WE RECEIVE

When you voluntarily send us your quote request by email (per Section 2), we use the information you provide only to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and answer questions
  • Prepare and schedule a free estimate/consultation
  • Provide the painting, pressure washing, staining, or flooring services you requested
  • Maintain records of communications and, where a job is completed, ordinary business/customer records

We do not sell, rent, or trade the information you send us to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not use your quote-request information for automated marketing/advertising profiling.

11. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We do not share the contents of your quote request emails with third parties, except:

  • With service providers who help us operate our business (e.g., our email provider, Google) strictly to the extent necessary to provide that service, and subject to their own privacy practices;
  • If required to do so by law, subpoena, or valid legal process;
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of Rangel's Painting LLC, our customers, or the public;
  • In connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of our business assets (in which case affected individuals would be notified as required by law).

Aggregated, de-identified analytics data (via GA4) is processed by Google as described in Section 3.

12. DATA RETENTION

Because quote request data is sent directly from your device to our Gmail inbox and never passes through or is stored by our Site's own infrastructure, we retain that information for as long as reasonably necessary for customer service, accounting, warranty, and legitimate business record-keeping purposes, consistent with our email provider's (Gmail's) own storage practices, after which it may be deleted at our discretion.

GA4 analytics data is retained by Google according to the retention settings configured in our Google Analytics account (Google's default GA4 event-data retention period is up to 14 months, though this is configurable). We do not have the ability to identify you personally from standard GA4 reporting.

13. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

13.1 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"), gives California residents certain rights regarding their personal information, but it applies in full only to businesses that meet specific statutory thresholds (for example, over $25,000,000 in annual gross revenue, or buying/selling/sharing personal information of 100,000 or more California consumers or households annually, or deriving 50% or more of annual revenue from selling or sharing personal information). Rangel's Painting LLC is a small, local home-services contractor, and we have not determined with certainty whether we meet these statutory thresholds. Rather than assert a legal obligation that may not strictly apply to a business our size, we are voluntarily extending CCPA/CPRA-style rights and disclosures to California visitors as a matter of good practice.

Categories of personal information we may handle about you, consistent with Section 2 and 3 above: identifiers (name, email, phone), internet/ network activity information (via GA4), and geolocation information at the general/approximate level (via GA4). We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months.

Subject to verification of your identity and the practical limits described above (we do not maintain a searchable database of quote-request emails), California residents may request to:

  • Know/access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you
  • Delete personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information (we do not currently sell or share personal information)
  • Non-discrimination for exercising these rights

To submit a request, email rangelspaintingllc@gmail.com or call (843) 680-1827. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law once we have determined our exact regulatory obligations, and no later than 45 days from a verifiable request, extendable as permitted by law.

13.2 Other U.S. State Privacy Laws

A growing number of U.S. states (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others) have enacted comprehensive privacy laws that generally apply to larger businesses meeting revenue or data-volume thresholds. Based on our size, our exclusively local NC/SC service area, and the limited personal information we handle (Section 2-3 above), we do not believe these laws currently impose binding obligations on us, but we will honor reasonable, good-faith requests to access, correct, or delete personal information you have sent us, regardless of your state of residence. Contact us at rangelspaintingllc@gmail.com.

13.3 European Union / United Kingdom (GDPR) — Not Currently Applicable

We have confirmed that our services, marketing, and target audience are limited exclusively to the Charlotte, NC / SC metro service area within the United States. We do not offer goods or services to, and do not direct any marketing toward, individuals located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom. On that basis, the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and UK GDPR do not currently apply to our processing activities. This determination is based on our confirmed, current business practices and will be revisited if Rangel's Painting LLC ever begins marketing to, or knowingly serving, customers located in the EU/UK.

14. DATA SECURITY

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information sent to us, including relying on the security infrastructure of established third-party providers (Google/Gmail, Google Analytics). However, no method of electronic transmission, email, or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You send information to us via your own email client at your own discretion and risk, the same as you would with any email you send to any recipient.

15. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES SUMMARY

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — website analytics
  • Google Fonts (Google LLC) — web font delivery
  • Gmail (Google LLC) — our business email inbox, where quote requests you choose to send are received
  • WhatsApp (WhatsApp LLC / Meta Platforms, Inc.) — optional click-to-chat
  • Instagram and Facebook (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — outbound social links only, no embedded widgets or pixels

We do not control these third parties' own data practices. Please review their respective privacy policies for more information.

16. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
